    Excavation & Base Prep

    Proper base depth is non-negotiable in Wisconsin's freeze-thaw climate. We excavate to the appropriate depth and compact aggregate in lifts.

    Setting & Installation

    We set pavers, flagstone, or wall block systematically, checking level and grade continuously to ensure proper drainage and alignment.

  4. 04

    Finishing & Walkthrough

    We fill joints, sweep in polymeric sand, and inspect the full installation. You get a walkthrough and maintenance guidance before we leave.

How long will a paver patio or retaining wall last?
A properly built hardscape in Wisconsin should last 20–30+ years. The base preparation is what determines longevity — we never cut corners there.
Why do some hardscapes heave and crack after a few years?
Almost always a base failure. Insufficient depth, inadequate compaction, or improper drainage under the base causes frost heave. We build the base correctly from the start.
What materials do you work with?
We work with concrete pavers, natural flagstone, quarried limestone, fieldstone, wall block, gravel, and permeable aggregate systems.
Do you design and install, or just install from plans I have?
Both. We can work from a design you already have, or we'll develop the layout on-site based on your goals and site conditions.
How do you price hardscape projects?
We quote by project after a site visit. Dimensions, materials, site access, base requirements, and complexity all affect pricing — a per-square-foot ballpark without seeing the site is rarely accurate.
